FAQ'S

Key questions you should ask before joining any club:

There are a variety of Boat Clubs and plans to choose from in the
Marketplace. Before you join any Boat Club there are some key
questions that you should investigate:

• What is your ratio of Members per boat?
• How often can I take out a boat?
• How many reservations can I have at one time?
• What is your availability on the weekend?
• Ask to choose three random Members from the local club list to call and solicit personal references.
• Ask them to explain their maintenance schedule.
• Visit the club personally to inspect the quality of the boats, operations, and talk with current Members.
• Do you limit the number of Members at each of your locations?

The Boat Club is dedicated to the Southwest Florida market with a
unique club concept. The Boat Club is about Quality not Quantity.
We limit the size of our club memberships, assuring our Members of
excellent availability, upscale boats that are well maintained. We pride
ourselves on personalized service, excellent value and knowing our
customers as part of our extended family.

I don't know much about boating – is instruction available?
And you don't have too! Each and every new member is required to go
through a safety orientation plan. The safety orientation program will
cover chart reading, docking, general navigation and rules of the road.
We will spend up to four (4) hours of instructional time with you as part
of your initiation fee. Should you desire or need additional time, it is
billed in half-day (4 hour) increments at $50.00/hour.

Can I talk to other club members to see how they like and use the
club?

Feel free to check out some testimonials from club members listed on
our web site. We also welcome and encourage you to come down to the
Club for a test ride on a boat, meet the staff and see how easy and well
the club works. Call to schedule an appointment.

Where do I buy fuel?
Fuel is available at Marina facilities. The boat is leaves port with a full
tank of fuel. Upon returning the member is require to fill the tank and
pay for the fuel used. If you wish our dockmaster to fill the tank please
tell them at the time of departure. There is a $15.00 service fee added
to your fill cost for this service.

Do I need to be back at a specific time?
Our normal hours of operation are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. You can
come back at a later hour provided 1) you've discussed your arrival time
when you placed your reservation and 2) you must be back one hour
